THANK YOU HONEST 1 AUTO CARE : When the engine icon appeared on the dashboard of my 2007 automobile, I thought that this could mean BIG trouble. I am a senior lady who knows nothing about car repair. Since Honest-1 Auto Care is close to my neighborhood and always appears busy, I decided to bring my car to you. After the diagnostic tests were performed, I was informed that the timing mechanism was at fault. This would be a major repair job costing in excess of two thousand dollars. At the same time, I was informed the mechanic had done further research and learned that the repair was under warranty. I was also advised to take the car to the dealer and have the work done there so it would be covered under warranty. You saved me a great deal of money. Now that is what I call being "Honest." I am fully aware that Honest-1 Auto Care could have done the repair and billed me for it. I would have never given it a thought about being a warranty on a seven year old car. The issue with an oil leak has improved but was not resolved. Now it's just a slower leak.
